"Rug" tends to get searched by someone picturing a display mat under a bike in a showroom or a home garage — something closer to décor. "Pit mat" gets searched by someone thinking service bay, oil changes, tools on the floor. Same product, different mental image of where it's going.
What actually varies: size, use case, branding
The construction stays constant — nylon top, rubber or TPR backing, chosen for oil and fuel resistance and UV stability. What changes order to order is the size (single-bike coverage vs. a full dealership row), whether it's printed with a dealer or club logo, and how much floor space it's meant to protect versus how much is just for display.
