Floor Mats for Car Dealerships: Showroom Entrance, Display Floor, Service Desk and Handover
A car dealership uses floor mats in four places: the showroom door, the display floor, the service reception and inside the car a customer drives away in. Here's which floor mats dealerships and motorcycle dealers order for each, and how to brand them as one programme.

A customer drives in for a service on a wet morning, walks across the showroom past the new models, waits at the service desk and, a year later, drives a new car home with the dealership's name on the floor mats. That's four floor mats, and each one is doing a different job.
This guide is for car and motorcycle dealerships, dealer groups and the automotive marketing suppliers who serve them. It covers floor mats for car dealerships, area by area, and how to run them as one branded programme.
The short answer
Car dealerships use a heavy rubber-backed logo mat at the showroom entrance, branded display mats under motorcycles or show vehicles, anti-fatigue mats behind the service desk, and full-colour printed car mats as a handover gift. Keep one artwork and brand colours across all of them.
At the showroom entrance: logo mats
Customers often come straight off a forecourt or out of the service bay, so the entrance mat has real dirt to stop. Our printed outdoor rubber logo mat is made for retail and showroom entrances: a nylon printed surface on a heavy anti-slip rubber base, standard or industrial grade, in common thicknesses of 5mm, 6mm, 7mm and 8mm, for continuous outdoor use.
Inside, a store-branded logo entrance mat on a nylon 66 surface is made for dealership entrances and multi-site groups, with per-location sizing and packaging and labelling for each site. Our guide to logo mats for multiple locations shows how to roll one design out across a dealer group.
On the display floor: motorcycle and show mats
A motorcycle on a bare showroom floor looks unfinished, and it can leave marks. Our motorcycle parking and display mat has an absorbent, oil-resistant top on a non-slip rubber or PVC backing, made to the size for the bike model and printed with dealer or brand graphics. It gives each bike a clean, branded footprint on the display floor. Our guide to custom motorcycle mats for dealers, clubs and events covers sizing and artwork.
At the service desk
Service advisers stand at the desk most of the day. An industrial anti-fatigue mat behind the counter puts cushioned PU foam under them, made for 8-hour standing shifts, with a non-slip base and a bevelled edge. It's cut to the size and shape of the desk. In front of the desk, a logo mat marks the customer waiting area.
At handover: printed car mats
The last floor mat is the one that leaves with the customer. A full-colour printed car floor mat set carries the dealership's logo or a custom design, with a rubber or spike backing and a choice of edge binding colour. Universal sets have front mats of 45×70cm and rear mats of 33×45cm; custom-fit sets are cut to a vehicle template.
Only print manufacturer badges you have permission to use. Our guide to printed car mats for dealerships and accessory brands covers the details.
Running it as one dealer programme
Use one master artwork and the same brand colours for the entrance mats, display mats and car mats, so the customer sees one dealership from the forecourt to the driveway at home. Logo mats are matched to Pantone references, and every design is confirmed on a free digital proof. Custom orders typically take 20–30 days after approval, plus shipping, and MOQ is confirmed in the quote.
How to order
Send the number of sites, the entrances and service desks per site, the display mats you need by model, the car mat quantity and fit, and your artwork. See the printed car mat range or send us your dealership plan.
